Would you like to get outside, maintain social distancing and raise funds for new FOP research grants all at the same time? For the 4th year, the IFOPA has been invited to participate in the 2021 Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center Million Dollar Bike Ride – a fully virtual event – being held on Saturday, June 12.

What's a Virtual Bike Ride?

• Ride anywhere you feel most comfortable – your driveway, your neighborhood, a community greenway
• Ride in any city, anywhere in the world
• Ride any way you want – bicycle, adaptive bike, wheelchair, or even take a cruise in your car
• Ride any day you want – you just have to be done by June 30

No matter where or how you ride, you are still raising money to fund new FOP research.

The Million Dollar Bike Ride is a very special opportunity because the Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center matches a portion of the funds raised by the FOP community.*

• In 2018, $75,000 funded two FOP research grants.
• In 2019, $80,000 funded two more FOP research grants.
• In 2020, $80,000 funded two more FOP research grants. 

In order to receive a Million Dollar Bike Ride goodie bag, we ask that you raise at least $100.
