Amanda Cali Scholarship Fund
From the moment Ian Cali was diagnosed with FOP, Amanda has tirelessly served the worldwide FOP community. Amanda has found FOP patients around the world, fueled research, and built programs to ensure better patient care and support. Most recently, she envisioned and launched the Tin Soldiers Outreach Program which has expanded to include patient and family support in South Africa and neighboring countries, and provide a continuing medical education program so that local healthcare workers are better equipped to find and care for those with FOP.
To honor Amanda for her 25 years of service, we are thrilled to launch the Amanda Cali Scholarship Fund. Our initial goal is to raise a $50,000 endowment. The interest from this endowment will provide annual scholarships for eligible students with FOP.
Supporting the dreams and plans of young people with FOP - encouraging their independence and empowerment through education - exemplifies Amanda's focus on moving forward with hope and we're grateful for your support.
