Join us for Ethan's Walk!
Sunday, April 26, 2026, 10 AM - 12 PM (rain or shine)
Route 18 Park (1945 4-H Park Road, Centreville)
Ethan is a young boy in Centreville living with the ultra-rare disease fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP). FOP causes bone to grow where it shouldn't, replacing muscles, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage with bone, progressively restricting movement. There's no cure, and there are no treatments available for children.
Ethan's friends at Centreville Elementary School* want to do something to help Ethan and everyone living with FOP, and they decided on an annual 5K walk in his honor.
We want you to be part of the fun and join us in a 5K at Route 18 Park. Registration is $50 for a family of 4, $25 for adults, and $10 for children. If you can't join us, your donation will still support this special event.
Registrations accepted through April 26. Register by April 6 to get a t-shirt on the day of the Walk.
All proceeds support the mission-critical work of the International FOP Association (IFOPA), which funds research for treatments and a cure for FOP, provides support and education programs for families living with FOP, raises awareness about FOP worldwide, and advocates for the FOP community.
You can help build a brighter future for Ethan and others living with FOP!
